Mrs. Clinton Risks U.S. Security for Personal Secrecy

August 27, 2015

Hillary Clinton supporters want to believe that she is a target of a “vast, right-wing conspiracy,” and that the constant scandals are fabrications by her enemies. No one could fabricate all these scandals. The Clintons are dogged by scandal because they are unethical people who do unethical things.

As sure as Gucci Gulch is scheming against Sen. Rand Paul’s flat-tax bill, the Clinton political machine is strategizing how to redirect the national conversation away from her latest breach of the American people’s trust: jeopardizing national security by circumventing State Department protocol and creating her own personal, unsecured email server. Not just a personal email account, but her own server that is inaccessible by National Security Administration and the U.S. State Department. Undoubtedly, the Russians and Chinese would be able to hack it, though.

President Obama has failed to live up to his campaign pledge of being the “most transparent administration in American history,” most notably by falsifying and obfuscating White House visitor logs and by creating a new classification called “derivative classification,” which is a foggy way of classifying more information under the claim that they are not new secrets, just same old secrets as before.

Clinton Hillary on her phoneAs Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton never made such a promise of transparency — no one would have believed her if she had. While foreign relations are strained with nearly every U.S. ally, and foreign aid continues to flow like a busted water main to our enemies, the Clinton State Department needs a national security scandal as much as Rep. Trey Gowdy (R – S.C.) needs assertiveness training.

Combine Clinton’s ineptitude in the State Department with her disregard for law, ethics, and accountability, and her seeming lack of sympathy, Americans are justifiably outraged. The brutal, tortuous murders of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his security team, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty, at the Benghazi, Libya embassy, September 11, 2012, was a collective punch to the stomach for Americans. (And another example of Mr. Obama’s duplicity.) Mrs. Clinton’s dismissiveness of the preventable attack and murders further illustrated her lack of leadership. Her haughty refusal in the Congressional hearing to take responsibility for abandoning the embassy, proved that she is morally ineligible for elected or appointed office.

Through their investigation of the Benghazi embassy attack and the State Department’s and White House’s neglectful response to calls for aid and defense, Rep. Gowdy and the House Oversight Committee discovered Mrs. Clinton’s personal email server, a shock to all who recognize what a serious breach of security that proposed. It’s dumbfounding that Mrs. Clinton operated for four years outside of State Department security protocols, knowing that she dealt with the utmost sensitive information that could bring down the U.S. government, if her server were to be compromised.

Non-partisan Judicial Watch sued the U.S. State Department through the Freedom of Information Act, and stated in a press release that “Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an order to the State Department explicitly instructing that all federal documents relating to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills be preserved.” Such illegal secrecy begs scrutiny.

Knowing the risk to U.S. national security could be “exceptionally grave damage” — risks eons beyond the Whitewater deals, renting the Lincoln bedroom to Chinese campaign donors, and the mysterious deaths of Vince Foster and others — Mrs. Clinton’s secrets must be worth it to her. The American people be damned.
